Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature, 1 Corinthians 2:6

Spiritual maturity Spiritual maturity

The Apostle Paul wrote his first letter to the Corinthians addressing the epistle to the believers of that community, in his first letter his speech focuses primarily on the importance of wisdom as a source for preaching and persuasion, like the sapiential books of the ancient testament, and in particular the first part of the epistle has similarities with the book Wisdom of King Solomon. Wisdom is the strenght of God for those who are saved 1 Corinthians 1:18; penetrates into the most intimate knowledge of God, wisdom is secret and mysterious, 1 Corinthians 2: 7; wisdom is directed mainly to adult people 1 Corinthians 2: 6: "Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature, 1 Corinthians".
What does it mean to be an adult?
Aristotle gives us in his book Metaphysics the concept of nature; a nature tells us is what the being tends to be in his development. Example: the nature of the worm is the butterfly, the nature of every human community is the polis or city, understanding this concept as the self-sufficient community.
So the next question is: What is the nature of man? What tends the man to be in his development? We can say that man is his development tends to the adulthood, to integrity. And who is the man of integrity?, an adult man?
Recall that the good is reason of final cause. The good is reason of final cause because it explains the transformation and development of the beings. Example: A house is good when it is finished, the fruit is good when is ripe or mature. Every being tends to his own good or perfeccion. So we can say that the adult man is the wise man, wise as God. God is the Wisdom itself. The selfish people is in a certain sense, people who have not reached maturity.
Wisdom is the knowledge of the correct means to live. The adult man is the man who does the correct thing because it is correct. In other words the wise man is the good man. Speaking about wisdom is to speak about which is perfect, beautiful and complete.Wisdom only resonates with mature and responsible people, people who seeks God's likeness. The wisdom is foolishness and nonsense for those who only seek their own happiness and the immediate satisfaction of their senses. This one are clearly child personalities, they do not mature.
We choose, we act as eternal teens or adults, we are responsible for who we are.
