I am the way, the truth and the life. John 14:6

I am the way, the truth and the life I am the way, the truth and the life

"I am the way, the truth and the life," Christ tells us in John 14: 6. The gospel mixes theological concepts with philosophical, Jesus affirms his divinity with this expression. To understand this affirmation firstly we must understand the ethical or philosophical meaning of the Kingdom of God. Kingdom means domain, empire. Metaphysically God is the Wisdom itself, and origine of the perfections that we see in the universe. The charisms (gifts) are perfections. So the Kingdom of God means domain, empire of the Wisdom. Or if  is preferred, Domain of the Spiritual Gifts, dominion of God's perfections. The Kingdom of God is the culture of excellence from the point of view of philosophy.
Way, Truth and Life are the main characteristics of the good. The good is known as spiritual gift of Rectitude or Golden Rule: "Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12.
The good is way because we became good doing acts of goodness or acts of retitude (see the Golden Rule), the good is the truth because is precise and exact; and when the truth is not enough must prevail life (white lie).
Christ, from the point of view of Theology, personifies God's good, "Only God is good" (Matthew 19:17)reminds us. We inherit the Gift of the Good or Retitude (Golden Rule) we become sons of God living righteously, that is the MAN that became "SON OF GOD"; and on the other hand Christ personifies the Retitude of God, Christ is GOD that became "SON OF MAN". The man became son of God, God (Jesus) became son of man.
