Spiritual Intelligence: Those who think they are prophets or spiritual persons should understand

Spiritual Intelligence: Those who think they are prophets or spiritual persons should understand, 1 Corinthians 14:37 Spiritual Intelligence: Those who think they are prophets or spiritual persons should understand, 1 Corinthians 14:37

The gift of prophecy represents the spiritual maturity of the Christian and it is the most important gift that a believer of the kingdom of God can aspire to: "Now eagerly desire the greater gifts" 1 Corinthians 12:31. This spiritual gift, due to the weight of its mysteries, is a gift that implies years of meditation on beatitude and on the wisdom from above for its correct understanding, because the problem is not the gift itself, but the interpretation of what comes with the prophecy (the interpretation requires understanding or spiritual intelligence), and an example of this is the revelations of the book of the apocalypse or the prophecies of Daniel or Isaiah. It is the task of the community of believers, that is, the Church its correct administration, the apostle Paul teaches us: "The spirits of prophets are under the control of the prophets themselves" 1 Corinthians 14:32.
The spiritual gift of prophecy can only be lived by those who have reached the understanding of the truth and the spiritual enlightenment through Gnosis, that is, by the free action of the spirit of wisdom: "Because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit" Acts 8:16-17.
Paul identifies the spiritual man with the prophet: "Those who think they are prophets or spiritual persons should understand that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command" 1 Corinthians 14:37. And this is so because the gift of prophecy is a consequence of the contemplative life, prophecy is not only listening (perceive with attention, meditate, decide), it is also revealing the future and the hidden of God; this is how the apostle John explains the eternal life: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth" John 4:24.
The gift of prophecy, as a third eye, completes the gifts of wisdom and perseverance, making the spiritual man a reflection of God: "The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things" 1 Corinthians 2:15.
