The nature of evil: A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good
We can say that there are three kinds of people, the good, the bad, and the worst, and the Holy Scriptures teach us that between the bad and the worst there is a particular relationship. The worst will always try to make the bad think like him, because perversion is like a well, everything tends downwards, perversion is a discernment.
The bad guy in the Bible is called a sinner, and normally the sinner sins out of selfishness, by ignoring his neighbor; but the worst is the impious, that is, the person opposed to piety, the person with a "hard heart", the impious sins not so much out of selfishness but out of passion. The opposition between the sinner and the impious is the opposition between reason and passion.
Aristotle in his book Metaphysics explains to us that the nature of evil is hate, that is to say, that when evil develops it tends to its most destructive and chaotic aspect.
Among the perverse, the deeper the falsehood and the more intense the ego, the inclination to error is accentuated, and it is here that madness and perversion coexist at some point. About this, the King Solomon explains: "So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly" Ecclesiastes 7:25.
By the logic of perversion, if there are no social or legal rules that prevent it, evil will develop among the perverse, that is why the Bible tells us with a proverb: "A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good" Proverb 16:29. The evilest man will try to impose his madness on others. That is why in a society dominated by perversion we see tyrannies and wars, whether secret or public, in abundance. In this context, the task of justice as a virtue is to keep passions at bay and make rational behavior prevail, justice among the wicked is ultimately necessary because it keeps destructiveness at bay. Perversion, in short, is the inclination of life towards its inorganic state.
