In the gospels there are numerous references to the Law of the Harvest, also known as the Law of Return: "Do not judge and you will not be judged, and do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven", Luke 6:37; also "a man reaps what he sows," Galatians 6: 7. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus exposes this law as a continuation to the teaching of the Beatitudes, within the Sermon on the Mount. The law of return: you reap what you sow, it is a cosmic law of balance and retribution, it is an ethical Law of universal reach. It is a law of balance because it tends to correction of error by complementing the Golden rule: "do unto others as you would have them do to you", Matthew 7:12. It is also a law of retribution. We reap blessing or curse, in the Beatitudes of Luke, Christ speaks of the true and the false happiness, or to say the 4 Beatitudes (Luke 6: 20-23) and the 4 curses (Luke 6: 24-26). The Law of Return is related with the works of the flesh (Galatians 5: 19-21) and the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23) according to what style of life we have. The Parable of the Good Samaritan explains to us that we choose between good and evil, we practice the sin, like the Levite and the Pharisee or we live righteously like the Samaritan. The return of the sin is death and the ruin; the return of the spiritual gifts are life and peace. We live according to the flesh, we practice the sin; or we live according to the spirit, we live the spiritual gifts we inherit from God, or to say we search the correct (spiritual gift of counsel) and the best (mercy, continuous improvement). We have to choose between two lifestyles (we sin or we search the correct and the best), good and evil are solutions of the human behavior. We reap what we sow, everything has a why. Rarely is misfortune a product of the destiny. We edify, or destroy, we bless or we curse.
